5.6 Replacing V-belt (Fig. 11)
Only for radial fans IMA 111 and IMA 185.
1. Remove the cover (A).
2. Lower the motor (B) by using the adjusting
nuts (C).
3. Remove the old V-belt (D).

IMA 111 4.4 lb
IMA 185 5.7 lb
Fit new V-belts in the reverse order.
Caution
Tighten the V-belt according to the table.

Fault Cause

11 The capacitor of the burner motor
is defective.
12 The room thermostat has been
placed in the hot-air flow.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before you trouble shoot, make sure
that the electricity is connected and the
fuel tank is full.
Warning
For all service and adjustments contact
qualified, competent and authorized
persons.
Warning
Disconnect the electric power during
repair!
Solution
Push the reset button of the
burner relay.
Replace the burner relay.
Correct the settings.
Place the cap if a room
thermostat is not used.
Replace the fuel pump.
Check (and correct) the airflow.
Reset the heater.
Replace the digital combination
thermostat or sensor.
Check the air inlet.
Let the motor cool down until the
reset of thermo couple.
See faults: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9.
Test the motor and replace if
necessary.
Replace the capacitor.
Install the room thermostat out of
this hot-air flow.
Replace the pump coupling.
