For reasons of safety and approval (CE),
inappropriate conversion work and/or mo-
dification of the testing box is not allowed!
Make sure you put the testing box into ope-
ration correctly. Always follow the instruc-
tions in this manual.
Functional description
The test on the vehicle or trailer is carried out
via the connection plug on the testing box.
Initial Operation
In order to guarantee correct initial operati-
on, always read this operating manual, in-
cluding safety instructions, completely and
attentively before use.
Handling
A: Vehicle side
1. Insert the plug (7&13-pole) of the testing
box into the trailer socket on the vehicle.
2. First check the socket assignment using
the 7&13-pole plug on the testing box.
Switch on vehicle ignition. Both LEDs (9
(-) and 10 (-) must light up. If they do not,
the socket has not be connected to the ve-
hicle correctly.

3. Now take the testing box into the vehicle/
driver side and check the cable assign-
ment of the socket by requesting the ve-
hicle functions.
4. Any faults in the wiring are indicated im-
mediately by the testing box by either the
LEDs not lighting up or the wrong LEDs
lighting up.
B: Trailer side
1. Insert the trailer plug into the back of the
testing box. (Use adapter with 7-pole trai-
ler)
2. Insert the button cell provided into the bat-
tery car rier on the testing box.
3. Any faults in the system are indicated after
the rotary switch has been turned.
