outdoors. Wear protective hair covering to contain long
hair.
Use Safety Glasses.
Stay alert and watch what you are doing.
Use extra care when approaching blind corners, shrubs,
trees, or other objects that may obscure your vision.
Watch for holes, ruts, or bumps. Be careful on uneven
terrain to avoid overturning the machine. Tall grass can
hide obstacles.
Thoroughly inspect the area where the machine is to be
used, and remove all stones, sticks, wire, pet supplies or
lawn toys, and any other foreign objects that you could
run over. Also note the location of holes, ruts, bumps,
stumps, and other possible hazards.
Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free
from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping
surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the
tool in unexpected situations.
Be sure the area is clear of other people before moving.
Do not allow children, bystanders, or pets in your work
area when the machine is being moved.
Use the machine only in daylight or in an area well lit by
artificial light.
Do not operate the machine if it does not start or stop
normally.
Always be sure of your footing.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all
times. This enables better control of the power tool in
unexpected situations.
Do not operate the machine when you are tired or under
the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Do not use the machine for any job other than those for
which it is intended.
Don't Force Appliance - It will do the job better and with
less likelihood of a risk of injury at the rate for which it
was designed.
Use only manufacturer recommended replacement parts
and accessories.
Using components other than those supplied could cause
overheating, fire, or explosion.
Do not modify the machine in any way. Modifications
void your warranty.
Never make adjustments or repairs with the motor
running.
Do not use the machine if the switch does not turn it on
and off.
Use caution when operating in wet conditions.
Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools
allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety
principles. A careless action can cause severe injury
within a fraction of a second.
Do not operate in explosive atmospheres such as in the
presence of flammable liquids, gasses or flammable dust.
If in doubt, wait for dust to settle before using.
Keep all nuts and bolts tight, and keep the equipment in
good condition.
