• If you have had surgery in the areas to be treated.
• If you epilepsy with light sensitivity.
• If you have diabetes, or other systemic or metabolic diseases or congestive
heart disease.
• If you have any other condition which in your physician's opinion would make it
unsafe for you to be treated.
• If you have epilepsy.
• If you are on gold therapy.
• If you have received radiation therapy or chemotherapy treatments within the
past 3 months.
• If the ultrasonic treatment head has cracks.
Note: This list is not exhaustive. If you are not sure whether you can use the appliance,
please consult a doctor.

4.2.2 Areas not to treat

• Do not use directly on eyes. Keep away from eyes by at least 1cm.
• Do not use on the middle of neck (throat).
• Do not use on nipples, areola, or genitals.
• Do not use on an area of recent surgery, deep peel, laser resurfacing, scars,
or skin that has been damaged with burns or scalds.
• Remove the applicator from the skin if it is unusually warm.

4.3 Possible side effects

When used according to instructions, side effects and complications associated
with use of LEDSONIC+ are rare. However, every energy based system may
involve some degree of risk. Therefore, it is important that you understand and
accept the risks and complications that can occur. LEDSONIC+ is a gentle home
use appliance, most users only sense moderate heat applied by the device during
use with no further discomfort.
• Skin may become slightly irritated after using LEDSONIC+. This is a typical and
normal phenomenon. If the irritation does not disappear within 3 days, please
consult a physician or a dermatologist.
• Skin may become slightly red. This should disappear a few hours after
treatment.

5. Preparing for use

5.1

Charging

• Fully charge the batteries before you use LEDSONIC+ for the first time and
when the batteries are empty. Fully charging the batteries takes up to 4 hr.

• Low battery alert: Charge LEDSONIC+ when hearing a continuous "D..D..D"
sound. This indicates the battery is low on power.
• Fully charged batteries provide operation time at least approx. 1 hr. 20 mins.
for ultrasonic mode and approx. 1hr. 40 mins. for LEDs light therapy mode.
• Fully charge the appliance every 3 to 4 months, even if you do not use
LEDSONIC+ for a long time.
Directions for charging LEDSONIC+:
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Insert the small plug from the adaptor into the back of the charger base and
put the adaptor in the wall socket. (See Fig. 5)
Notes: The LEDs attachments in the charger base are only for storage purpose.
