5. Hold the needle fi rmly and tighten the needle clamp screw.
PLEASE NOTE!
❐ After replacing the needle, fi rst only check in manual mode by using the hand wheel whether
the machine sews neat stitches. Only activate the Ein / Stand-by button or the foot control
when the needle is in the correct position and you have persuaded yourself in manual mode
that the machine will sew neat stitches.

Cleaning

PLEASE NOTE!
❐ Make sure that the device is switched off before you do any cleaning! Pull the mains plug out
of the mains socket and remove the batteries.
❐ Do not dismantle the housing of the sewing machine.
❐ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the machine. These could damage
the surface.
• Remove any fabric fi bres and remnants that may have collected from the bobbin compartment
using a fi ne brush.
• If necessary, wipe the housing with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
3. Hold the needle fi rmly and loosen the needle clamp screw by
turning it in the anticlockwise direction. You can now remove
the needle.
4. Insert the new needle up to the limit stop into the needle
clamp. The fl at side of the needle must be oriented towards the
needle clamp screw.
