1. SAFETY WARNINGS

The product can only be installed by qualified personnel in compliance with local safety laws and regulations. Fracarro
Radioindustrie is free from all civil and criminal responsibility due to breaches of current legislation derived from the improper
use of the product by the installer, user or third parties.
The product must be used in full compliance with the instructions given in this manual, in order to protect the operator against
all possible injury and the product from being damaged.
Don't open the product case: components under dangerous voltage may be accessible when the case is opened.
• The product must be installed in the last position of the 3DG-BOX cabinet.
• The product must not be exposed to water drips and must be installed indoors inside in dry places.
• Damp and condensation drops could damage the product. Consequently, always wait for the product to be
perfectly dry before use.
• Handle with care. Knocks could damage the product.
• Leave plenty of space around the product to ensure sufficient ventilation.
• High temperatures or overheating could compromise the product functions and life.
• Do not install the product above or close to sources of heat, in dusty atmospheres or when it could be
exposed to corrosive substances.
• To prevent injury, the product should be installed in the cabinet, following the assembly instructions given
in Chapter 3.
• The "PERMANENTLY INSTALLED UNITS" must be equipped with an easily accessible power disconnecting
switch easy to reach. "UNITS WITH A POWER PLUG, " the outlet must be installed near the unit and easy to reach.
• The cabinet where the product is installed must be connected either directly or by means of the rack to the
earth electrode of the antenna installation according to the EN 60728-11 regulation.
• The earth screw is indicated with the symbol
• It is important to observe the provisions of the EN60728-11 standard and not to connect this screw (clamp)
(product) to the power supply earth line.

2. INTRODUCTION

The 3DGFlex family is a modular head unit equipped with a cabinet (3DG-BOX code 283156) that can house six
modules and a Control Unit that permits the use and programming of the Central Processing Unit.
The Control Unit can:
• Supply power to up to 6 modules
• Program the Central Processing Unit through the incorporated keypad and display or via a Web interface
(PC) on a local or remote network
• Perform real-time monitoring of the Central Processing Unit status and send email alerts (Controller Host)
• Import or export the Central Processing Unit configuration by a USB
