DIP switches

By means of the DIP switches, the characteristic curve for the PWM / 0-10 V out-
puts can be selected. DIP switch 1 corresponds to output 1, DIP switch 2 corre-
sponds to output 2, etc.

Commissioning

Note
The module neither has to be registered with the controller nor does it
need a sub-address! The controller will automatically send signals to the
EM-HP once it is connected.
For initial commissioning of the EM-HP, proceed as follows:
1. Connect the EM-HP to the controller by means of the VBus
2. Adjust the operating mode of the EM-HP (see page 14).
3. Adjust the characteristic curve of the speed control signal for each of the
PWM / 0-10 V outputs of the EM-HP (see page 14).
4. Connect the power supply cables of the loads to the relays 1 ... 4 of the EM-HP
(see page 13).
5. Connect the signal cables of the loads to the PWM / 0-10 V outputs 1 ... 4 of the
EM-HP (see page 13).
6. Establish power supply to the controller.
7. Establish the power supply to the EM-HP.

troubleshooting

WARNING!
Electric shock!
Upon opening the housing, live parts are exposed!
Î Always disconnect the device from power supply
before opening the housing!
In the case of an error, please check the following:
Operating control LED is permanently off.
Check the power supply of the device. Is it disconnected?
no
The fuse of the device could be
blown. The fuse holder (which
holds the spare fuse) becomes
accessible when the cover is
removed.The fuse can then be
replaced.
Fuse
The device is protected by a fuse. The fuse holder (which also holds the spare fuse)
becomes accessible when the cover is removed. To replace the fuse, pull the fuse
holder from the base.
yes
Check the supply line and
reconnect it.
