Filter
To clean the filter remove by grasping firmly between your thumb and fore-
finger and gently twisting off starting at either the right or left edge.
To install the filter grasp between your thumb and forefinger and press the
filter slot onto the tab of the lid cover.
NEVER REMOVE OR INSTALL THE FILTER WHEN THE KETTLE IS HOT
Descaling
Under normal use, scale build-up will form on the inside of the kettle
and will coat the stainless steel plate. Scale, which has accumulated in-
side the kettle must be removed. Follow either of the 2 methods below:
A. Boil equal parts of white vinegar and water (500ml/2 cups of each
is recommended). Once the water has boiled, allow the mixture to
stand overnight. Empty out mixture and fill kettle to the MAX level
with fresh water. Bring water to a boil and discard.
B. For heavy scale build-up, use a scale/lime remover and follow
its manufacturer's instructions. This descaling process should be
repeated periodically. IMPORTANT: Scale build-up can be delayed
by pouring out water after use then refilling the kettle when required.
