To make the best use of all the functionalities of your DSA 500 RT and fully enjoy its performance levels, we recommend that you read the instructions in this booklet carefully and keep it somewhere safe for future reference.

If a problem persists, return the product to your Focal distributor for repair. • Use the accessories specified and make sure they are correctly installed. Only use the accessories specified in the user manual and those contained in the package.
- Page 5 The installation of this product requires technical knowledge and experience. If you have any doubts about your ability to install the amplifier, get it done by a Focal distributor so that you can take full advantage of all the options available with the DSA 500 RT.
- Page 6 Because of the presence of an air port on the left-hand side of your DSA 500 RT, the ideal area for it to be installed is the right-hand side of the boot of the vehicle so that it does not obstruct the output of low-frequency sounds.
- Page 7 U s e r m a n u a l 3. Wiring Warning If you have any doubts about your ability to install the amplifier and wire the system properly, get it done by a Focal distributor/installer. Beware Avoid routing power supply cables close to low-level input cables and high-level inputs, aerials, sensitive equipment and bundled lines.

- Page 9 Finally, connect the speaker cables to the amplifier while complying with the polarities (+ on +; - on -) using the adjusted crimps (fig.5. Fig.5 Beware The speakers or speaker kits cables on the DSA 500 RT must have an impedance of more than 2 ohms. Using lower impedances voids the warranty.

Matériel requis pour effectuer l’installation : • 2 gaines de section adéquates (1 gaine pour le câble d’alimentation, 1 gaine pour le lot de câbles haut-parleurs, REMOTE, modulation RCA et télécommande RT)
- Page 21 En raison de la présence d’un « évent » situé sur le côté gauche de votre DSA 500 RT, la zone privilégiée pour son installation est le côté droit du coffre du véhicule, pour ne pas obstruer la sortie des sons basses fréquences.

La phase de connexion est maintenant terminée. Il reste à vérifier la bonne alimentation ainsi que le bon fonctionnement d’ensemble (autoradio / DSA 500 RT / haut-parleurs). Mettre le gain de la source au minimum. Positionner le gain du DSA500 RT sur 1/3 de la course (fig.10). - Page 29 11. En cas de problème, adressez-vous en premier lieu à votre revendeur Focal. La garantie pour la France sur tout matériel Focal est de 2 ans. En cas de matériel défectueux, celui-ci doit être expédié à vos frais, dans son emballage d’origine auprès du revendeur, lequel analysera le matériel et déterminera la nature de la panne. -
