Ready-to-use pre-assembled bulb holder kit for reliable and safe operation of JBL Reptil

Desert L-U-W Light and JBL Reptil Jungle L-U-W Light, as well as other metal halide lamps,
in terrariums.
· With a high-quality VS electronic ballast.
· Special red cable between the electronic ballast and the lamp socket with the approved
high-voltage resistant design, suited for the high ignition voltage required for metal halide
lamps.
· Three-core lead (with a protective conductor) to the electronic ballast and a safety plug.
· Quick coupling for easier assembly. All you need to do is drill a hole.
· Sturdy joint for stepless adjustment of the angle of the lamp.
· Microprocessor-controlled safety shut off after less than 20 minutes if the metal halide lamp
does not turn on.
· End-of-life automatic shut off if the metal halide lamp is defective.
· Automatic shut off of the ballast in case of overheating.
· Exclusively suited for operation with metal halide lamps e.g. JBL L-U-W Light and other HID
lamps.

Safety instructions:
· Make sure that the operating voltage indicated on the name-plate agrees with the mains
voltage.
· Always disconnect the power plug and allow the socket to cool off first before changing
L-U-W bulbs. Screw in the new bulb and then reconnect the power plug.
· When screwing the L-U-W bulb in and out, always make sure to hold the socket with one
hand in order to prevent the cable from twisting.
· Do not operate a TempSet L-U-W Unit with a damaged mains lead (2) or a damaged special
ignition cable (6).so
· Damaged leads or special ignition cables may not be replaced by standard cables. Please
contact the manufacturer in the event of a damaged cable.
· The lamp socket is a special socket and may not be replaced by a standard socket. Please
contact the manufacturer in the event of a damaged socket.
· The electronic ballast of this JBL TempSet L-U-W Unit cannot be disassembled or repaired. If
damaged, it must be disposed of.
