The appliance is for indoor use only.

The appliance may not be used for any purpose besides that indicated in the Instructions for Use.

If they are supervised, the appliance may be used by children over the age of 8 and by
persons with a physical, sensory or mental impairment, as well as by inexperienced persons.
They should have received an introduction to how to use the appliance for this purpose
and be aware of the risks of use. The appliance is not a toy. Children should not clean the
appliance or do maintenance or repair work on it unless they are over the age of 8 and are
being supervised.

Never spray a JBL TempSet L-U-W Unit and metal halide lamps with water.

Do not use for aquariums.

Any assembly or mounting deviating from the procedure described in the following and
requiring the removal of electrical connections may only be carried out by a trained
specialist! Improper electrical connections may cause injury from electrical shock and pose
a fire hazard!

Mounting instructions:
What you will need:
A power drill with a 20 mm HSS drill bit and screwdriver.
The mounting procedure described in the following can be performed by anyone if the instructions are
followed accurately. You do not need to be an electrical specialist:
1.
Drill a hole with a diameter of approx. 22 mm into the surface where you plan to mount
the light socket (4) of your TempSet kit. The surface should be flame-resistant or non-
flammable.
2.
Disconnect the quick coupling (6) between the light socket and the electronic ballast.
To do so, slightly lift one end of the fastener with a small screwdriver and pull the two
coupling pieces apart.
3.
Unscrew the locking screw on the strain relief (8) located on the threaded tube (7).
Unscrew the strain relief from the threaded tube, making sure not to twist the cable.
Push the strain relief up along the cable by approx. 10 cm. Loosen the upper hexagon
nut on the threaded tube and push it up along the cable to the strain relief as before.
