Warning Tones
When the Beep Option is selected, warning tones will sound if:
• The battery is empty.
• The Voice Card is full.
Appears in Insert mode — Press Erase/Insert (16) to
select /deselect Insert mode.
Identifies the current letter ID (from 0 to 999).
The portable is inoperable. Install fresh batteries as soon as
possible.
Appears while you are erasing dictation.
Press Erase/Insert (16) to continue with letter deletion.
Insert a Voice Card.
Format the Voice Card.
Appears when the Voice Card is full.
The Voice Card is write-protected.
The Voice Card was protected from playback when installed
in another portable.
The card was removed during a process. Reinstall the card.
Incorrect operation; format card.
Appears in Setup Mode if the Voice Card was protected from
playback when installed in another portable (ver. 1.45d).
Appears in Setup Mode if the Voice Card was protected
from playback when installed in another portable (ver. 1.46d
or higher).
