Das Solarfeld sauber halten, damit eine größtmögliche Lichtauf-
nahme gewährleistet ist. Das Solarfeld (und bei Bedarf auch die
übrigen Bestandteile des Produktes) mit einem feuchten Tuch ab-
wischen. Zum Reinigen des Produktes keine ätzenden oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden! Sie könnten die
Oberfl äche beschädigen.

Entsorgung

Das Verpackungsmaterial umweltgerecht entsorgen und
der Wertstoff sammlung zuführen.
Batterien und Akkus sind vor der Entsorgung des Produk-
tes zu entnehmen und getrennt vom Produkt zu entsorgen.
Im Sinne des Umweltschutzes dürfen Batterien und Akkus
nicht über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden, son-
dern müssen an entsprechenden Sammelstellen abgege-
ben werden.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU für Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE).
Das Produkt nicht als normalen Hausmüll, sondern um-
weltgerecht über einen behördlich zugelassenen Entsor-
gungsbetrieb entsorgen.
Akku entfernen: Die Schrauben auf der Unterseite der Solarein-
heit herausdrehen, die Abdeckung hochklappen, den Akku ent-
nehmen und ggf. austauschen.

Intended Use
• The product is intended to be used for decoration of outside
areas. The battery charges up in daylight via the solar panel.
This stored energy allows the LEDs to glow in the dark.
• The product is designed for personal use only and is not in-
tended for commercial applications.
• The product should only be used in the manner described in
the instructions for use. Any other use is deemed to be im-
proper. Store the instructions in a safe place.

SAFETY NOTICES

■ WARNING – Danger of Suff ocation! Keep children and ani-
mals away from the packaging material.
■ The product is not a toy. Do not leave children and animals
unsupervised with the product in order to avoid injuries!
■ CAUTION – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a bat-
tery leaks, avoid physical contact with the battery acid. Wear
protective gloves if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse
the aff ected areas with abundant clear water straight away and
seek medical assistance immediately.
■ Do not take the solar unit apart (except for removing the bat-
tery before disposing of the solar unit). Have any repairs done
only by a specialist workshop or the customer service depart-
ment. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
■ Batteries must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, immersed
in liquids or short-circuited.
■ Never immerse the product in water or other liquids! It is only
splashproof.
■ During extreme weather conditions (e.g. storm, hail) or if the
product will not be used for a long time, switch off the product
and store it at room temperature in a dry place.
■ Protect the product from naked fl ames and impacts.
