Make sure the W810 radio buoy is equipped with the W855
counterweight fxed on the special hole at the bottom of the radio
buoy.
Tie a rope to the radio buoy, using the special hole on the
identifcation tab.
Put the radio buoy into the sea water gently, by holding both
sides; it is recommended not to throw it nor to let it fall from
heights over 3 meters.
When the radio buoy is in contact with water, it will be activated
will be signaled its activation through the light indicator placed on
the high part of the buoy (see fgure 6) for 2 seconds.
Battery charging
To charge the W810 radio buoy battery, put the W840 charge module close
to the radio buoy (5) and tighten the W840 module on the contacts of the
W810 radio buoy by the wing nut. It is not necessary to tighten the screw
with the wing nut completely, but few turns are enough for the spring
compression on the screw to ensure the electrical contact. The radio buoy
should be switched of during the charging phase.
How to fi the radio buoy to the fiing bracket
When you are not using the W810 radio buoy or when it is in charge, it is
recommended to keep it fxed to the fxing bracket. To place the radio buoy
on the fxing bracket, proceed as follows:
Take the radio buoy from above as shown in fgure (8) and put it
on the bracket, the radio buoy electrical contacts must be towards
the outside.
Take the lever and pass it over the radio buoy (9).
Move the locking lever under the holding hook with a light
pressure.
To remove the radio buoy, follow the above indicated steps in
reverse order.
