Noise and Interference
Motorcycle audio systems are by their very nature noisy. While we do not guar-
antee this system to be completely free from electrical noises and interference,
we have taken many steps to achieve that goal: the power supply system is well
filtered and the cables associated with the unit are shielded.
Most modern day motorcycles have resistor-type spark plugs installed by the fac-
tory. It may be necessary to insure that resistor-type spark plugs are installed on your
motorcycle.
Care, Cleaning and Protection
Your JMCB-2003 unit has been designed to withstand most weather conditions
likely to be encountered in the motorcycle riding environment.
This unit is NOT however designed to be submerged or to withstand a high pres-
sure spray from commercial car wash nozzles and the warranty will be void on any
unit that has been subjected to these conditions.
The included slip-on elastic cover should be installed over your JMCB-2003 unit
when washing your motorcycle or whenever your motorcycle will be left out in the
weather or direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
To clean your JMCB-2003, use a soft damp cloth and avoid any harsh cleaning sol-
vents or abrasives, as these may damage the finish or structural integrity of your CB
unit.
