Before fi rst use
ATTENTION!
■ Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. Risk of suffocation and
other dangers!
■ Please keep in mind: Smoke or an odour may be emitted the fi rst time you use
the device. We therefore recommend that you fi rst heat the device WITHOUT any
contents for a few minutes in order to remove production residue with heat. In the
process, ensure that the room is well ventilated, e.g. with windows that have been
opened wide!
■ There may be some production residue stuck to the device. To avoid health risks,
clean it thoroughly before fi rst use. Never submerge the device in water or other
liquids in order to clean it.
■ When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage
the device.
1. Unpack all parts and make sure that the product contents are complete (see chapter
"Product contents and device overview") and check for any damages from transport.
Remove all foils and stickers if present. If the device is damaged, do not use it (!),
instead contact customer service.
2. Clean the device and the grill plates with a soft cloth and a small amount of mild de-
tergent. Then dry the device thoroughly.
