BIO CO
Biological CO

With CO

- Instructions for use: Please read thoroughly. Store in a safe place. -
Congratulations on your purchase of this high-quality Bio CO
2
supply your aquarium easily, reliably and evenly with CO
– the most important fertilizer for aquarium plants.
2
DENNERLE hopes you will have many hours of fun and pleasure with your aquarium!
CO
is essential
2
for all aquarium plants
From the building blocks of CO
(carbon dioxide), water and light, plants
2
produce their most important nutrient and energy store: sugar. They will
only grow and truly thrive – and provide your fish with the oxygen they, in
turn, need – if your aquarium's water contains enough CO
.
2
So only aquaria with very few plants or none at all will require additional
aeration as the natural producers of oxygen are missing.
A constant CO
supply
2
has other advantages
CO
dissolves in water partly as carbonic acid. Most tropical aquarium fish
2
and plants love this slightly sour water. It has a positive impact on the sen-
sitive skin of the fish. It will be easier for plants to absorb essential trace
elements.
As it directly promotes considerable plant growth, a constant CO
even fights algae. Thousands of times over, it has been proven that healthi-
ly growing water plants rob algae of the nutrients they need to survive. As
a consequence, existing algae generally shrink visibly within a few weeks,
effectively preventing algae from spreading excessively.
Constant CO
production
2
through CO
control-gel
2
A fermentation process with pure sugar normally starts out very rapidly, but
abruptly drops off again after just a few days. DENNERLE Bio CO
control gel, on the other hand, produces a constant amount of CO
least 30 days – that translates into a virtually constant amount of CO
over one month.

Compact Set is ideal for aquaria up to 80 litres capacity. Please

note: The stronger the movement of the water surface (e.g., by filters, addi-
tional aeration), the more CO
will be expelled from the aquarium.

Installation
and Connection
1. Select an easily accessible place on your
aquarium for mounting the bottle sup-
port. Pull the protective foil off the adhe-
sive strips on the bottle support.
Place the CO
press it vertically onto a clean and fat-
free aquarium pane. Firmly press the two
tabs with adhesive tape onto the pane.
Please note: The adhesive strips stick
very tightly. After pressing the bottle sup-
port onto the pane, you will not be able
