CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Use a soft cloth to clean or dust the
water or another mild cleanser. Do not use alcohol, abrasives or harsh solvents.

Safety precautions should always be used when operating this or any appliance. Decrease the risk of
electrocution, electric shock, injury or fire by reading and following all the warnings below.

Use the ZON personal air purifier only as described in this manual. To reduce the risk of electric shock,
do not attempt to service the product in any way other than in the manner described herein.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment has a grounding type plug that has a third (grounding)
pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding type power outlet. If the plug does not fit into the outlet,
contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way.
Read All Instructions Before Operating.
• This product operates at 100-240V AC only.
• Do not run power cord under carpets, and do not cover with throw rugs.
Do not use the Z Ō N personal air purifier in bathrooms or other humid environments. Do not use near fireplaces or in areas where flammable or

combustible vapors or products may exist.
• Always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet when the purifier is not in use, before moving to another location, and before cleaning,
inserting or removing parts.
Never run the Z Ō N personal air purifier unless it is fully assembled.

Always turn off all controls before unplugging the Z Ō N personal air purifier from the outlet.
•
Attempting to service the Z Ō N personal air purifier in any way that is not described in this manual will cause the warranty to be voided and could cause
•
serious personal injury to the user and/or result in considerable damage to the unit.
• Do not place the cord near a heated surface.
Never operate the Z Ō N personal air purifier if the plug or cord is damaged or appears damaged. Only qualified service personnel should replace or
•
attempt to replace a damaged power cord.
• Never use the power cord to pick up, carry, drag, pull, or lift the unit. Do not pull the cord against or around sharp corners and edges. This could result
in injury to the user or damage to the cord.
• Always remove the plug from its power outlet by holding onto the plug itself and pulling gently.
Never pull on the cord to unplug the Z Ō N personal air purifier from its power outlet.

Use care when operating the Z Ō N personal air purifier by keeping all foreign objects, fingers, body parts, hair, loose clothing and jewelry away from openings.

Never touch the Z Ō N personal air purifier or its plug with wet hands.

The Z Ō N personal air purifier is an electric appliance. Adult supervision is required when operating the ZŌN personal air purifier in the presence of

children.
• Position on a flat, solid, stable surface.
Do not use the Z Ō N personal air purifier in an enclosed space where oxygen, flammable, explosive or toxic vapors are given off, or in an area where
•
flammable dust is present.
• Intended for residential use only.
• Do not use outdoors.
• The supply cord of the power adaptor cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the entire appliance should be replaced. Please contact Humanscale
Customer Service for service.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The Z Ō N personal air purifier is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience

and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
