REPLACING THE PAPER FILTER, CONT.

1. Turn OFF .
4. Insert the Pre-Filter and new or cleaned
Paper Filter into the unit, being sure to
push all the way to the back.
Important: Be sure the Pre-Filter is
completely dry before reinstalling.
INSTALLING/REPLACING THE VOC & ODOR FILTER
The ZŌN personal air purifier comes with two optional VOC & Odor Filters for removing additional
contaminants from the air. For best results, replace VOC & Odor Filters as desired or after approximately
3 months of use.
To order replacement filters, contact Humanscale Customer Service at 800-400-0625.
1. Turn the air purifier OFF and remove
the front cover (see steps 1 and 2 from
"Replacing the Paper Filter"). Place a new
VOC & Odor Filter inside the front cover.
Dispose of the used VOC & Odor Filter in
the garbage—it is not reusable.
2. Push the disc on the front of the unit
and turn counterclockwise to open the
front cover.
5. Replace the front cover and turn
the disc clockwise to lock it in place.
Return the disc to its original position.
Important: For your safety, the unit
will not turn on unless front cover
is correctly and fully installed.

3. Remove the old Paper Filter and
Pre-Filter. Wash the Pre-Filter under
running water, wipe clean, and dry.
Recycle the Paper Filter with other
paper products or clean with a vacuum
brush attachment and reuse.

6. To reset the timer, turn
press and hold the Reset Button above
the Power Switch for 5 seconds.
The Indicator Light will blink 5 times
and then remain solid green,
indicating the timer has been reset.
VOC & Odor Filter Information
A VOC & Odor Filter is not required for
use in most household and business
environments, but is recommended for
removing gases such as methane and
formaldehyde and odors such as cigarette
smoke and smog.
