Congratulations! You have just become the
proud owner of the extraordinary Air Naturel
Orion humidifier. You are sure to get a lot of
pleasure from this device and it will improve
the air quality of your rooms.
As is the case for all electrical household
devices, special caution is required when
using this humidifier in order for injuries, fire
damage and damage to the device to be
avoided. Please read through this instruction
manual carefully before you use it for the first
time, and adhere to the safety guidelines on
the device itself.
dEscrIptION Of thE dEVIcE
The device consists of the following main
components:
1. Power cable for power supply
2. Upper housing
3. Cable compartment
4. Lower housing (Water tank)
5. Fragrance tray
6. On/off switch
7. Button for selecting the power set-
ting, 1 or 2
8. Hygrostat button (air humidity ad-
justment)
9. Water filling opening with indication
of max. water level
10. Vaporiser cartridges (2 pieces)

12. LED for operation (power on)
13. LED hygrostat (5) 40% - continuous
operation
14. LED power setting (1 LED economy,
2 LEDs standard)
15. LED no water
fIrst usE / OpErAtION
1. Please note: Never transport the de-
vice when it is filled with water and
when upper part (2) is attached.
Otherwise water may splash into
the upper part and stop the elec-
tronics from working correctly.
2. For this reason, base (4) of the
Orion humidifier should initially be
filled with water and placed in a
suitable location separately. Alter-

natively, the device can initially be
positioned and then filled through
water filling opening (9). Insert
vaporiser cartridges (10) into the
"drawers".
3. When this base is in the desired
position, place upper housing (2)
back on the base. Plug power ca-
ble (1) into the household power
socket. Check that the housing is
fastened securely, as a safety con-
tact prevents operation if the de-
vice is open.

(6). The desired power setting can
be selected using power setting
button 1 or 2 (7).
5. The desired air humidity can be
selected using hygrostat button
(8), from 1 LED (low humidity) to 5
LEDs (high humidity). For example, if
only 1 LED is lit, the device switches
itself off at a relative humidity of ap-
prox. 35%, and only starts operating
again when the humidity falls be-
low the 35% mark. We recommend
a medium setting (in the comfort
zone) for an optimal air humidity of
around 40-60%.
6. As required, 3-10 drops of fragrance
can be added to fragrance tray
(5). This enables the fragrance to
be distributed around the room in
an optimal way. Fragrances must
not be added directly to the water
in the water tank.

the hygrostat has been set too low.
