25 Glass break detector
The glass break detector (Article. no. 6413) can only be
used in conjunction with the 6411U/S-101 flush-mounted
insert. This sensor is an optional accessory unit which can
detect a bursting window pane.
a. Function
The flush-mounted insert automatically detects a
connected glass break detector. If a pane of glass bursts,
certain ultrasonic signals are produced which are
evaluated by the detector. The detector sets off a move
down command.
Please note that the 6411U/S-101 flush-
mounted insert in conjunction with the glass
break detector is not suitable as a burglary/
robbery protection device, since there is no
sabotage security as prescribed in VdS.
