There is insufficient free space on the USB
flash drive.

damaged.
The contents of the USB flash drive are
damaged.

Items to check
Is the OCTAPAD and the connected equipment
powered-on?
Is the OCTAPAD correctly connected to the
external devices?
Could an audio cable be broken?
Could the volume of the OCTAPAD or a
connected device be lowered?
Could an instrument be off, or could the level
of a sound parameter be set to 0?
Is the pad or external trigger set to an
appropriate sensitivity?
Is the USB flash drive inserted correctly?
Could the impact be causing another pad to
respond?
Action
Check whether the MIDI cable could have
been disconnected or broken.
Make sure that the external MIDI device
is correctly connected. If this does not
solve the problem, decrease the amount
of MIDI messages being transmitted to the
OCTAPAD.
Insert the USB flash drive correctly.
Delete unneeded data.
Do not use this data.
Copy any important data from the USB flash
drive, and then use the OCTAPAD to format
the USB flash drive (p. 30).
If this does not solve the problem, try using
a different USB flash drive.
Insert the USB flash drive correctly.
Action
Use the dedicated AC adaptor.
Check the connections.
Try using a different cable.
Adjust the volume to an appropriate level.
Check each parameter.
Check the sensitivity and settings of the pad or
external trigger.
Check the USB flash drive.
If this is a problem, lower the pad's sensitivity.
