Possible cause and remedy
• Examine the fuse in the electrical system of the house in the fuse
box. If the fuses blow time after time, speak to an authorised electri-
cian.
• Make sure that you plug in the appliance and switch the electrical
supply.
• Make sure that you turn correct control knob.

• Make sure that plate is clean and dry.
• Make sure that the cooking pan is the correct size for the plate.
• Make sure that cooking pan has a flat bottom.

• No cookware on the plate. Place cookware on the plate.
• The diameter of the bottom of the cookware is too small for the
plate.
• Move onto a smaller plate. Use suitable cookware.
