3.1 Organisational measures

It is best to assemble the table frame with two persons. The turning of the frame with the assembled
tabletop, in particular, must be carried out by two persons.

3.2 Informal safety measures

• Keep the assembly and operating instructions at the place of use of the table frames at all
times.
• Keep all safety and risk notes at the table in a legible condition and renew them if necessary
(PDF assembly instructions see page 40).

3.3 Technician training

• Only persons over the age of 16 may install the table frame and work at it.
• The technicians must have read and understood the assembly and operating instructions.
• Work on electrified components may only be carried out by trained electricians.

3.4 Transport and assembly

• Only move the table frame when disconnected from the power (remove the mains plug).
• Only move the table frame with two persons and at the lowest table height.
• Do not tip the table or pull it across the floor.

3.5 Risks from electrical power

RISK
• Only connect the table frame to the power supply once assembly is complete.
• C arry out regular checks on the electrical equipment on the table frame in accordance with
the national requirements (in Germany the accident prevention guidelines).
• D o not use a cable with damaged insulation. There is a risk of electrocution. Have the
damaged cable replaced immediately with an undamaged cable by a specialist dealer.
• D o not lay the supply cable close to heat sources. The cable could be damaged by the effect
of the heat. There is a risk of fire or electric shock.
• Disconnect the table frame from the power supply during longer periods of standstill or non-
use.

Risk to life if a cable is broken or damaged.
There is risk to life and limb or to property, caused by electrical power,
if a cable is broken or damaged.
Never operate the table base with a damaged mains cable. Only use
with the included mains cable.
Never pull the cable over sharp edges.
Do not bend the cable. Do not place any heavy objects on the cable.
Do not pull on the cable. Pull the mains plug in order to disconnect the
table base from the mains power.
Disconnect the controls from the power network immediately if there
are signs of cable breakage. Contact your specialist dealer.
If the mains power line on this device is damaged then it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's customer service
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid risk.
