5) Fan running status
One of 2 relays of the SAT3 option indicates if the fan is actually running (airflow > 20% requested value) or not.
This allows for example to start an electrical heating coil or a compressor only when the fan is actually running (contact
closed). It is an extra safety feature because you have the cetainty the fan is actually running (closed loop principle)
Wiring diagram: see appendix §
6) Alarms
The control box CB1 TAC3 CA features 5 alarms :
- an alarm on fan failure. See 1 in the table hereunder.
- an alarm on pressure rise. See 2 in the table hereunder.
- an alarm on the reference pressure initialisation. See 3 / 4 / 5 in the table hereunder.
- alarm of non respect of the assignment. See 6 / 7 in the table hereunder.
- CB data error alarm. See 8 in the table hereunder.

Description
Describes a fan function default. Check wiring, connections and 230V supply.
Otherwise the problem can be caused by defective wire, control circuit or motor.
(text is displayed on several successive screens).
It signals a fan pressure alarm.
Alarm LED is lit, R2 relay on SAT3 (option) is closed and the LED over the SAT3
relay is lit.
Actual fan airflow < requested airflow: the requested airflow is located at a pressure
level the fan cannot reach. Change the air system, or the airflow requested, or a use
bigger fan. (1) + (2)
This alarm signals that the nominal airflow requested cannot be reached because
the lower boundary of the fan's working range is reached. (1) +(2)
Pressure too unstable. Change the air system or airflow request. (1) + (2)
This alarm means the requested airflow cannot be reached.
Requested airflow cannot be held constant because the counterpressure on the fan
is too high.
This alarm signals that The airflow requested cannot be held constant because the
airflow is too low for the working range of the fan.
This alarm indicates an error in the data of the control circuit. (1)
To solve this problem :
- Make a « factory reset » using the advanced setup (to activate press keys SETUP
and ENTER simultaneously until text "ADVANCED SETUP" appears on the
screen. Select "factory reset" and press enter.
- If not solved circuit has to sent back for a factory reprogramming.
