Problem
Kettle is leaking water

May be condensation.

This is normal if boiled a
number of times in succes-
sion.
Pour water out to MAX level.
Ensure the switch is clean.
Switch on household socket.
Check the socket with
another appliance
Seat kettle on base correctly.
Unplug all appliances at-
tached to the same same
circuit.
Descale element using a
proprietary descaler or citric
acid solution. If not success-
ful then a new element may
be required.
