11. The OSD Menu

a) Operation of the OSD Menu
You may use the buttons on the digital recorder for this as well as those on the
IR remote control.
• To call the OSD menu, either push the digital recorder button „MENU/ESC" or the
button „MENU" on the IR remote control.
If a recording is running (or motion detecting was activated and the digital
recorder is waiting for a motion in the recording area), the OSD menu cannot
be called. Terminate the recording (or stop motion detection) by pushing the
button „REC/STOP".
• Use four arrows to select the present submenus submenus/functions within the OSD
menu.
• Confirm selection of a submenu/function or setting with the button „
• To leave the OSD menu (or to return to the previous menu from a submenu), either
push the digital recorder button „MENU/ESC" or the button „MENU" or „ESC" on the
IR remote control
b) Structure of the OSD Menu
After starting the OSD menu, you may choose between three different submenus/functions
(„System Setting", „Recorder Setting", „My Files"), as described in the next sections.
