Starting Your Model
Carefully take the locomotive that is in the blister packaging from the cardboard box. Then open the blister
packaging as shown in the example in Figures 1a/1b, remove the locomotive and put it onto the track. The
direct current model is suited to a maximum of 14 volts and the model in the alternating current design can be
operated on analogue with a maximum of 16 volts or digitally. Let the locomotive run a couple of minutes for-
wards and backwards at half voltage and then the locomotive is ready for operation.

Sortez soigneusement le blister de l'emballage en carton. Ouvrez le blister comme indiqué sur l'ill. 1a/1b. Après
avoir sorti le modèle du blister posez votre locomotive sur les rails. Ce modèle est déstiné à rouler en courant
continu avec une puissance de 14 V et en courant alternatif analogique avec 16 V.
Il fonctionne également en système digital. Avant la mise en service faite rouler la locomotive pendant quelques
minutes dans les deux sens et avec la moitié de la puissance.

This model is designed for running even narrow track radiuses (minimum radius R 356 mm).

Servicing and Maintaining Your Model
Your model should be serviced at regular intervals to guarantee a long life. The model does not have to be
opened for the minor service. Instead, it is sufficient to lay the model on its back on a soft base as in Figure
2 and clean the wheel contacts with a cotton bud soaked in spirits. Then clean the wheels. Never turn the
locomotive's drive wheels by hand. After cleaning, lubricate the bearings designated in Figure 2 with a drop
of machine oil using a commercially available oiler with a precision hollow needle or a pin. Caution: do not use
salad oil or skin crème.
