HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL TARGET ANGLE ADJUSTMENTS
FOOT RELEASE BASE MOUNT ASSEMBLY
CHANGING HORIZONTAL FLIGHT ANGLES (FIG 16).
Minor changes in horizontal direction of flight can
be controlled by placing target at different positions
under the Target Clip (I) on the Throwing Arm (A).
Place target in the center position for center (straight
ahead), outer position for right, and inner for left. To
make major changes to the horizontal direction of
the target, reposition the trap to the desired position.
CAUTION: DO NOT PIVOT THE TRAP BODY ON THE
STAND. THE TRAP MUST BE POSITIONED SO THAT IT IS
IN LINE WITH THE BASE.
CHANGING VERTICAL FLIGHT ANGLES (FIG-3-4 &
12).
Changes to the vertical direction of target flight is
achieved by pivoting the Trap Body (B) up or down.
To rotate the trap up or down, loosen the 12MM x
30MM Lg. Hex Head Bolt (N-1) on the Pivot Mount (F)
and rotate the trap to the desired elevation and then
retighten the bolt (N-1). You may need to move the
Trigger Chain (N-19) to adjust for change in elevation.
POST MOUNT ASSEMBLY
CHANGING HORIZONTAL FLIGHT ANGLES (FIG 5-6
& AND FIG 10 & 16).
Minor changes in horizontal direction of flight can
be controlled by placing target at different positions
under the Target Clip (I) on the Throwing Arm (A) (FIG
16). Place target in the center position for center, outer
position for right, and inner for left. Major changes to
the horizontal direction of the target is achieved by
pivoting the Trap Body (B) right or left (FIG-5-6 and
FIG 10). To rotate the trap left or right, loosen the
12MM Hex Nut (N-2) that secures the Pivot Mount
(F) to the Post Mount (M) and rotate the trap to the
desired angle and retighten the nut (N-2).
CHANGING VERTICAL FLIGHT ANGLES (FIG 3-4 &
10).
