Installation
1. After completition of the wall surface and installation
of the take off fittings, the grey flushing unit must be
removed and the box has to be shortened to the
front edge of the tiles.
2. Seal with silicone. When used in hollow wall
installation seal the edge to the gipsom board.
3. Put on the installation unit (cold water mark up right
hand side), sleeve, cover plate and adapter shaft.
4. Mount setting knob in position 38° (Starck 40°)
and tighten screw.

Adjustment

Correction is necessary if the temperature measured at
the take off point differs from the temperature set on the
scale. To adjust temperature proceed as follows: Turn
the setting knob until water at a temperature of 38° C
comes out of the outlet. Loosen screw of setting knob.
Remove setting knob and turn to the 38° C (Starck 40°
C) position. Attach setting knob again and tighten its
screw.

Temperature limitation

The temperature range is limited by the safety check to
38° C (Starck 40° C). If a higher temperature is
required, it is possible to override the 38° C (Starck 40°
C) check by depressing the red safety button.
Maintenance of the thermoelement
The shut-off valves are automatically closed by removing
the none return valves.
Put setting knob to 38° C and hold in position.
Undo screw and pull off setting knob.
Remove cover plate (velcro straps) holder for cover plate
and seal.
Close the shut-off valves clockwise with an allen wrench
(8 mm).
Remove the thermoelement.
Clean filters and lubricate the seals.

Important!

Do not dismantle the thermoelement only replace it
complete.
Reassemble in reverse order.
Adjust unit.
To garantee a smooth running of the thermoelent, it
is necessary from time to time to turn the thermostat
from total hot to total cold.
