6.2 Periodic inspections

The case must be regularly inspected for operational safety by
a competent person.
• The inspection intervals must be appropriate for the specific
operating conditions.
• Inspection must be carried out at least once a year.
• The inspection must be documented.
Fittings, hinges
• Check for damage, cracks, bends and corrosion.
• Check for signs of wear and proper functioning.
• Check for signs of temperature increases,
e.g. discolouration, smoke residues, burn marks.
Labelling
• Check for legibility and damage.
Accessories
• Check for completeness.

7 Storage

Observe the following requirements when storing the case
without contents:
• Store only in a dry indoor environment.
• Place only on flat, even ground.

8 Packaging and disposal

• Dispose of the case in accordance with local laws
and regulations for recycling aluminium.
• Dispose of the interior fittings separately.
