Grease the rail on which the slide and the driver ring glide and
be sure to regrease once a year.
9. Note for service personnel:
When in doubt, the control circuit board and the hand transmitter
should also be sent when electronic or electrical components are
inspected at the service center.

10. Important safety instructions

CAUTION - In order to prevent serious or fatal injuries:
It is vitally important to observe all the instructions; non-
observance may have fatal consequences.
Keep the remote control where unauthorized persons,
endangered persons and children cannot use it to operate the
door opener. Similarly, you should take steps to ensure that
the door coding unit and the inside switch cannot be operated
by the groups of persons mentioned above.
Read and follow all instructions.
Never let children operate the door controls or be allowed to
play with them. Keep the remote control out of the reach of
children.
Always keep the door opener in full view and ensure that no
persons or objects are in the direct vicinity. Do not let persons
or animals cross the path of the moving door.
Monthly checks: The following checks have to be carried out
every month:
- Check that the garage door opener performs all its
functions. The garage door must return after striking a
50 mm high object on the ground.
- Check that any additionally installed accessories (e.g.
a light barrier) perform their various functions.
- Check that all screw the connections are tight.
- Check for signs of wear, defects or insufficient balance
of the garage door and the garage door opener (e.g.
springs, fasteners, cables).
If possible, use the emergency release only when the door is
closed. Exercise caution when using the release with an
opened door. Weak or broken springs can result in the door
suddenly dropping, which can lead to serious or fatal injuries.
Ensure that the garage door is properly balanced - refer to the
manufacturer's handbook. An incorrectly aligned door can lead
to serious or fatal injuries. Permit only trained maintenance
personnel to perform repair work on the cables, spring sets
and other assembly components.
High torques may arise at certain points, e.g. where the door
pivots, in spite of an electronic force limitation feature. It is
essential, therefore, to follow the door's movement with great
attention in order to prevent serious accidents, particularly
where children are concerned.
Keep these instructions for future reference

the ground and the emergency release 1.8 meters above the
