Dear Customer,
We are delighted that you have chosen this LED fl oodlight with
motion detector. Before using the article for the fi rst time, please
read the instructions through carefully and keep them for future
reference. If the article is given to someone else, it should always
be accompanied by these instructions. If you have any questions
about the article and about spare parts/accessories, contact the

Operation
The motion detector responds to moving heat sources within its
detection range and activates the LED fl oodlight. This switches off
again after a preset interval ranging between 10 seconds and 10
minutes. The sensitivity of the motion detector can be steplessly
adjusted. The twilight switch insures that the motion detector oper-
ates either night and day or only during darkness.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
This product is designed to light up automatically when persons
are detected by the motion detector. It is not suitable for other
purposes.
The article is designed for personal use only and is not intended
for commercial applications. Use the article only as described
in the instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
Keep the instructions in a safe place.
The fl oodlight is suitable for attachment to normally fl am-
mable surfaces.
CAUTION: risk of electric shock!
The article must be connected with the protective earthing
conductor of the power supply. Electrical installation may
only be implemented by a qualifi ed electrician in compli-
ance with national installation regulations.
Before installing, maintaining or cleaning the article you
should disconnect it from the electricity supply.
You should never try to remove the housing of the motion
detector! It contains components which are live. In addition
this could damage the article. The unauthorised opening of
the housing will render the warranty null and void.
CAUTION: danger of burns! Always allow the fl oodlight to
cool down before you touch it.
CAUTION: Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging
material away from children and animals.
The article is not a toy! Keep children and animals away from
the article in order to prevent injuries.
Only clean the article with a damp, soft cloth and mild deter-
gent if necessary. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive clean-
ing agents! They could damage the surface.
For reasons of safety and approvals, any conversion and/or
modifi cation of the article is prohibited.
The warranty does not cover any defects which are caused by
failure to comply with these instructions and the safety guide-
lines, improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at
repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Assembly
CAUTION!
The fl oodlight must not be mounted on the ceiling! The mini-
mum distance above the fl oodlight and from its sides must be
30 cm, and 80 cm between the fl oodlight and the object to be
illuminated.
The article is splashproof (IP44). In spite of this, however, we
recommend installing the article in a protected location to en-
sure perfect functioning, because the setting knobs are not wa-
terproof.
You should select a dry location near a distribution box to
which the cable of the fl oodlight can be connected.
The wall and the installation materials (not supplied) must be
able to bear the weight of the fl oodlight.
Make sure that you do not drill into or destroy any pipes or
cables. Find out where possible pipes or cables may run
and avoid them.
You will need an Allen key (size 5 mm), suitable fi xings for
your wall and an electric drill.
1. Unscrew the supporting bracket (1) of the fl oodlight (6). For this
purpose you will need an Allen key (size 5 mm).
2. Hold the bracket against the wall and mark the position of the
holes. Make sure that the markings are horizontal. The sup-
porting bracket has to be mounted horizontally, so that after
installation the motion detector (5) is underneath.
3. Drill the holes.
4. Attach the supporting bracket to the wall with suitable screws
and if necessary wall plugs (not supplied).
5. Attach the fl oodlight to the support bracket in such a way that
the motion detector (5) is underneath.
Electrical Installation
CAUTION Risk of electric shocks!
Electrical installation may only be implemented by a quali-
fi ed electrician in compliance with national installation
regulations.
Work on the article must only be implemented when it is discon-
nected from the power supply. For this purpose the fuse for the
circuit should be switched off. Check whether the connecting
lead is disconnected from the power supply.
The article must be connected with the protective earthing con-
ductor of the power supply.
