Traynor QuarterHorse DH25H
Congratulations on your decision to purchase a Traynor QuarterHorse! When we set out to
create the first channel switching guitar amplifier in a stompbox format, we knew we'd have to
shrink a lot of circuitry without shrinking the most important thing of all: Your Tone. We're very
excited about the results of our work, and we're even more excited that you have decided that
the QuarterHorse lives up to your expectations. All of us at Traynor would like to say a very
heartfelt thank you for trusting us with your tone!

QuickStart Instructions

1. Connect the QuarterHorse to an 8-ohm or 16-ohm speaker cabinet via the output jack
(with the red nut) on the left hand side of the chassis.
2. Plug the included AC adapter into a 3-hole, grounded receptacle. Connect the DC
connector of the adaptor to the QuarterHorse.
3. Turn the Master control to zero and plug in your instrument.
4. Turn the Clean Vol., Drive Gain, Drive Treble, and Drive Vol. controls to their mid positions
and select a channel using the footswitch (Red LED = Drive; White LED = Clean).
5. Crank up the Master, dial in your tone and some effects.
6. Choose a suitable Rock and Roll pose (we suggest either a huge scissor-kick or
Townshend-style windmills), and rock out like a true Guitar God!
Controls/Inputs/Outputs
1. Input Jack
This is a high sensitivity input intended for guitars. If you're planning on connecting a piece of
line-level gear, make sure you turn its output volume way down.
2. Headphones/Line Out Jack
This output is designed to drive a low-impedance pair of stereo headphones or any line-level
input. The Master Volume controls the level of this output. This signal is internally fed through
a speaker emulation circuit, making it ideal for recording or sending to a mixer. Connecting
something to this jack WILL NOT disable the speaker; furthermore, this output CAN be used
safely without connecting a speaker to the amplifier output.
WARNING!! – This headphone output is capable of high Sound Pressure Levels, which
could—over extended use—cause hearing damage or loss. Do not use headphones at high
volume for extended periods of time.
