SODASTREAM CARBONATING BOTTLES
Your Drinks Maker has been designed to operate with a suitable SodaStream
carbonating bottle. Damages resulting from the use of a bottle other than a SodaStream
bottle are not covered by this warranty.
Before each use, check the expiry date on the carbonating bottle. Replace expired
bottles with new ones. Please recycle your expired bottles in accordance with local
recycling laws.

SodaStream Warranty – Additional Information
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The issuer of this warranty is SodaStream Australia Pty Ltd. ("SodaStream"), 21
Henderson Road, Knoxfield, Victoria 3180, Australia, Telephone No.: (03) 8706 0200,
sales@sodastream.com.au. Should this product suffer a major failure or other
reasonably foreseeable damage, contact us at the above phone number, email or
mailing address to present your claim for the warranty. SodaStream shall bear the
expense of providing a replacement machine, if deemed entitled as per our discretion
under the warranty. The warranty period shall be for 24 months from the date of
purchase, which means that a major defect in the product and the consumer's
submission of a related warranty claim must be made within that period.
The benefits to the consumer given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and
remedies that may be afforded to the consumer by law in relation this product.

Packaging is made of recyclable materials. Contact your local authority for further
information on recycling.
Your machine contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. The
Source contains a 3V lithium 2/3A size battery (CR123A). The crossed out wheel bin
symbol shown here above means that this product contains a battery and may be
classified as electronic equipment. The waste battery and the machine should not be
discarded along with other household or commercial waste at the end of their working
period after "life", but must be collected separately, and should not be disposed of with
other household or commercial waste at the end of their working life. Batteries contain
substances that may be hazardous and present a risk to human health and the
environment when they are not handled correctly as waste.
If the battery powering the LED lights needs to be replaced, please contact SodaStream
Customer Service for details on how to replace it. Please do not remove the battery from
the Source by yourself, as this should only be done by a professional.
This machine is labeled in accordance with European Directive on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) (Recast) (2008/0241 (COD), adopted 19 July 2011, and
2002/96/EC) and the Batteries Directive (2006/66/EC). The WEEE Directive has been put
in place to recycle products using best available recovery and recycling techniques to
minimize the impact on the environment, treat any hazardous substances and avoid the
increasing landfill. For more information on proper disposal of this product through a
