SETTING SPEAKER CONNECTION

NOTE:Speaker options must be setup when the unit is first installed for the speaker output to function
properly.
NOTE: For accessing certain features or making various menu selections, the IR Remote must be used.
CAUTION:To prevent accidents, never use the video screen to view DVDs or make
menu selections while driving the vehicle.
1. Turn the unit on and allow the screen to come up into the viewing position.
2. Press and hold the S (Set-Up) on the remote until the menu setup screen appears.
3. Use the joystick on the remote to move the highlight across the menu selections, MODE,
GRAPHIC EQ, AUDIO and SPK EQ.
4. Move the highlight to select SPK EQ, press the ENTER button (ENT on joystick) to enter into the
speaker menu.
At this time we are only interested in setting which size and if the speaker is available. Adjustments
can be made later for personal preference.
5. Move the highlight to until the speaker size under FRONT is selected.
6. Select the speaker size for FRONT by pressing. ENTER. Select LARGE if speakers are designed to
operate "full range". Select SMALL for speakers intended to operate 100Hz and above.
7. Use the joystick to select the other speakers in turn to set them.
8. Select the speaker size for CENTER by pressing. ENTER. Select LARGE if speakers are designed to
operate "full range". Select SMALL for speakers intended to operate 100Hz and above. Select NONE
if no speaker is being used.
9. Select the speaker size for REAR by pressing. ENTER. Select LARGE if speakers are designed to
operate "full range". Select SMALL for speakers intended to operate 100Hz and above.
NOTE:Speaker size selection only effects output frequencies when using a Dolby Digital or DTS encoded
disc.
10. Select S.W. (Sub Woofer) On or Off by pressing. ENTER. Select On if Subwoofer is connected. Select
Off if it is not available.
Speakers are now configured for the system installed.
