DON'T!

5. Instructions for use

1. Hold your child in a stable sitting
position.
Sit your child onto your lap, hold
them in your arms or sit them into an
upright position supporting their back
with a pillow. You may also sit them in
an infant bouncer or infant seat.
2. Insert the clean, dry nose tip
into the child's nostril.
The bottom of the device should
point downwards while in use.
NOTE:
Do not pinch or block the other nostril
while using the nasal aspirator.
3. Turn on the device with the
power button.
NOTE: Any time you are not actively
using the device, switch it off.
NOTE: The device turns itself off
automatically after 10 minutes of continuous use, but it
can be restarted depending on the charge level of the
battery.
4. Move the device around gently to make sure that you
reach all areas of the nostril.
TIP: The suggested length of contact aspiration is 10
seconds per nostril.
TIP: Dry, very thick mucus can be dissolved by a mild
saline solution. After using the solution, wait a few minutes,
wipe excess discharge with a tissue, then reuse the nasal
aspirator as directed.
NOTE: To avoid unsafe use, do not use more than 5 ml of
saline solution at a time. The Penguin head can hold up
to this amount of liquid safely and prevent mucus from
entering the device housing.
In rare instances, it is possible that the nostrils of a newborn
are too small for inserting the nose tip. In this case, place
the nose tip in a way that the nostril is completely covered.
The nasal aspirator's efficiency is enough for cleaning the
nasal passages properly.
Do not start recharging your device right
after it has been charged.
Do not use the device without the air mesh.
