PROGRAMMING
A commissioning operation is necessary to associate the RF
gateway with its related RF devices. Commissioning the gateway
is performed using the M200WC-RF USB RF interface connected
to a PC running the appropriate software tools (see product code
M200SCT-RF for details). The data file created when the system
was designed is downloaded into the gateway and the gateway
uses this information to configure the RF system. The gateway
searches for all its associated RF devices and programmes them
with their network parameters; it then orchestrates the creation of a
fully functional RF mesh network. (For further information, see the
Radio Programming and Commissioning Manual - ref. D200-
306-00.)
NOTE: Do not run more than one interface at a time to
commission devices in an area.
NOTE: Batteries should not be fitted into RF devices until the
system commissioning time
