Battery change
Loosen the 4 screws on the back side and remove them. Exchange the battery against one of the same type.
Insert the battery paying attention to the correct polarity and close the battery compartment lid. Only use typ LR
44 batteries.
Maintenance
Check the technical safety of the stop watch regularly, e.g. on damages of the line and the housing.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the stop watch must be switched off
immediately and secured against unintentional operation. There is reason to believe that safe operation is no
longer possible, if:
•
your stop watch shows visible signs of damage
•
it does not work
•
after the stop watch has been stored for an extended period of time under adverse conditions,
•
following severe transportation stress.
Before you clean or service the stop watch, pay attention to the following safety precautions:
When opening covers or removing parts, live parts may be exposed. This is why you must separate the device
from the supply point before a maintenance or repair. Capacitors in the device may still be charged, if it has been
separated from the supply point.

At the end of its useful life, this product must not be disposed of together with normal household
waste, but has to be dropped off at a collection centre for the recycling of electrical and
electronic devices. This is indicated by the symbol on the product, on the instruction manual or
on the packaging.
The materials of which this product is made are recyclable pursuant to their labeling. With the reuse, the recycling
of the materials or other forms of scrap usage you are making an important contribution to the protection of the
environment.
