Important instructions regarding the power supply
Connecting an external power supply unit allows you to
supply power to connected FireWire devices only. This
means that devices without their own power supply can
also be operated using the ExpressCard.
Note:
Use only switching power supply units with the following
specifications (we recommend Hama item no. 46611):
• Voltage DC 12 V, capacity depends on the connected
device
• Polarity: outer negative (-) and inner positive (+)
Caution: Failure to observe this warning may cause damage
to the laptop, ExpressCard or the connected device. Hama
GmbH & Co KG accepts no liability for damage that arises
from a failure to observe these instructions.
