4. Installation and Operation
1. The plant lamp must not be connected to the power during installation. Remove the plug from the
mains.
2. Twist the sodium vapour lamp (included) into the lamp socket.
CAUTION: The illuminant may not be touched with bare hands, as this will substantially reduce
durability. Always use a cloth or gloves to twist the illuminant into the socket.
3. Now lie the casing down with the flat side on a solid surface.
The set of chains (included) and the V-hook serve as a
hanging device. The chains are each hung into the mounting
loops on the lamp casing with a carabiner hook (see picture).
Then place both V-hooks at the corresponding position on the
profiles of your greenhouse. The chains can now be hooked
in. Place the carabiner hook on a different chain link in order
to adjust height.
4. Your growth lamp is now ready.
After installing the plant light you can begin to light your plants.
The lighting duration and time depend of the type of plant. Please
consult with your gardener.
To achieve time-controlled lighting we recommend installing a
timer clock (suitable for damp rooms). This will allow you to
exactly determine the duration and time of the lighting.
