The tripod included in standard delivery
allows the machine to be placed directly
on the floor.
Note
Always position the machine as level as
possible. If required, regulate with the height-
adjustable tripod feet using the box level (8).
Alignment via a defined point on the floor
(tripod only):
n
Rotate the switch (11) clockwise to
"UNLOCK".
n
Press button V
vertical beam, a point is projected on
the floor.
Following alignment:
n
Rotate the switch anti-clockwise to
"LOCK".
Switching the power tool on
and off
Note
The switch (11) is both an On/Off switch and
a compensation clamp for the self-levelling
device.
Switch on the machine:
n
Rotate the switch (11) clockwise to
"UNLOCK".

Rotate the switch (11) anti-clockwise to
"LOCK".

Position the machine.
n
Switch on the machine.
The machine levels itself within the self-
levelling range (±3.5°).
Note
If the machine has been positioned at too
steep an angle (>3.5°), a warning signal
sounds and flashing laser beams are
displayed.
In this case:
n
Move the machine into a more horizontal
position.
n
Switch on laser lines according to
requirement:
– Horizontal line 1: Button H (2)
– Vertical line 1: Button V
– Vertical line 2: Button V
(90° transferred to V1)
The lit LED (4) indicates that one or more
laser lines have been switched on.
