1. Product-Information
This stove is a quality product. It has been constructed to the highest standards and materials. Stoves and the installation of a stove require
specialist knowledge and they should be bought from a Romotop approved outlet and installed by a Hetas Registered installer. This stove
should also be installed in accordance with existing regulations relevant in the countries where sold.
2. Guarantee
2.1. All Romotop stoves are guaranteed form the date of purchase for a period of two years against faulty components/workmanship of the
steel and cast iron parts. All steel and cast parts will be replaced with new ones if damaged or broken provided the stove has not been
misused and the stove has not been overfired.
2.2. Wear
We would like to point out that the guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear which this stove is subjected to during the heating
process. Parts, which are subjected to normal wear, are, for example:
Seals (hardening due to thermal stresses and thus the stretching of the seal)
Surface coating (frequent cleaning or cleaning using coarse cleaning agents; see also the operating instructions)
Paint discolorations due to thermal stresses or overstressing.
Fire bricks, which can acquire surface changes or cracks due to the heating process. These changes do not cause any impairment to the
performance of the stove so long as the fire bricks retain their position in the combustion chamber and are subjected to normal usage.
Glass panes (surface changes due to differential thermal stresses above the flames, e.g. soot lugs or sintered on flue dust on the surface
of the glass pane).
2.3. Exclusions to the guarantee
We do not provide any guarantee for damage caused during the transportation of the products. Similarly there is no guarantee for damage
to fragile parts such as glass, ceramics or other such parts, due to over loading, improper handling or, during the servicing and/or through
errors in the installation and connection of the stove.
2.3.a
Romotop take no responsibility for damage caused by the improper use of the stove and of any damage caused by installation and
connection to the flue pipe carried out by a non approved installer. Over time the ceramic may change colour and craze – this too is not
covered in the guarantee
2.4. Conditions for the guarantee are also:
- Your Romotop stoves should be used in accordance with the Users Manual and installed by a Approved Installer.
- In order to make a claim a valid receipt/contract from an approved Romotop dealer is required.
