The digital display
The digital display indicates:
• the level of hardness to which the water
softener is set,
• the number corresponding to the washing
programme,
• the approximate remaining time of the run-
ning programme,
• activation/deactivation of the rinse aid dis-
penser (ONLY with 'Multitab' function ac-
tive).
• the end of a washing programme (the dig-
ital display shows a zero),
• the countdown for the delay start,
• fault codes concerning malfunction of the
appliance,
• activation/deactivation of the audible sig-
nals.
Indicator lights
Comes on when the special salt has run out.
Comes on when the rinse aid has run out.
Comes on when a washing programme has
ended.
Half load button
This option is useful and economical when
baskets are not fully loaded. It reduces the
consumption of water and energy.
Load both baskets.
When using this option reduce the dose of
detergent that is normally used for a com-
plete load.
It is not possible to select this option with all
washing programmes.
If the half load button is pressed and the op-
tion is not provided for the selected pro-
gramme, the half load indicator light will not
come on.
Refer to 'Washing programmes' chapter for
the list of washing programmes that are pro-
vided with this option.
