CHANGE ANTI-SCALE CARTRIDGE
Replacing the water softening cartridge
Replace the water softening cartridge when the change of anti-calc cartridge indicator light turns
on. At moderate use (twice a week) and depending on the water hardness in your region the water
softening anti-scale cartridge should be replaced every 3-6 months.
The appliance has a change of filter indicator that will turn on when is required to change the an-
ti-scale cartridge.
NOTE: - Do not use the unit without the water softening cartridge!
1- Remove the water tank by pressing the clamp and pulling the tank
2- Lift the ring on the cartridge
NOTE: - Be careful - there can be water inside the cartridge body.
Also water can remain at the installation place of cartridge. Remove the remaining water from the
installation place with a dry cloth or paper tissue before installing a new cartridge.
1-Install a new water softening
2-Install the water tank
3 – In order to reset the change of anti-calc cartridge indicator light, connect the appliance to the
mains and keep the switch button until the indicator light for change of filter turns off.

AUTO SHUT-OFF

An electronic safety device will automatically switch the heating element off if the iron is left unnat-
tended more than 30 seconds approximately in a horizontal position. If in a vertical position, this will
happen after 15 minutes approximately. To indicate that the heating element has been switched off,
body, pull it upwards and remove the cartridge.
