work on voltage-carrying parts only when the power supply has been disconnected!
1. The device does not switch on:
the device is not receiving any power supply
• ensure that the power network is live. (Does the display show anything?)
• ensure that the distributor is functional.
• ensure that the position sensor is in the right position
• check that the supply cable and motor cable are intact and connected correctly.
Mains voltage too high: the display shows the alarm message "A01"
• check whether the mains voltage is below 260 V.
• get a trained electrician to check whether voltage peaks of > 260 V are occurring on the network.
– > Find the causes of these peaks and eliminate them
fuse 6, 3 A (Fig 7; item 5) on the PCB has burned out or has come loose. (LED 2 item 4, Fig. 7 lights up
permanently)
• with the device disconnected from the power, press the fuse back into place or replace it.
• switch the device back on and check whether the red LED 2 switches on.
(– > New fuse also destroyed)
• if so, the control card is faulty.
The position sensor for activating the working cycle does not function.
• by lifting the carriage (5 cm), ensure that the sensor is released or actuated correctly.
• check that the sensor is secured in the correct position.
• check whether the LED on the back of the sensor lights up in the rest position and switches off when the
carriage leaves the rest position.
• check whether the position sensor is connected correctly in the control box
(disconnect from the mains supply)
• replace the sensor
Control card destroyed
• replace the control card
The device is suspended too high up for your animals
• adjust the height of the device
• check the position sensor
2. The engine runs continuously for 20 minutes (with brief pauses between the work cycles) –
the display then shows alarm "A02".
The position sensor is not working.
• by lifting the carriage, ensure that the sensor is released or actuated properly (LED on the back of the
sensor goes out – > sensor OK)
• ensure that the sensor is activated in the rest position (LED on the back of the sensor lights up) If not,
adjust the sensor until the LED lights up in the rest position
• ensure that no dirt or loose parts are preventing the carriage from returning to the rest position
• ensure that the springs are not under too much tension
– > loosen the spring tension
• restart the device
• replace the sensor
Motor destroyed.
• replace the motor
Display card or control card destroyed.
• replace the display or control card.
