The spare brush is fixed into the

Install guiding roller:
Insert the guiding roller (14) on to the

Mounting the additional handle:
1. Unscrew the additional handle

(17).
2. Insert the additional handle (17)
into the holder (24) underneath
the handle (1).
The spare brush holder (25)
must point towards the telesco-
pic tube (8).
3. Screw the additional handle (17)
tightly with the star-stud screws
(26).
There are 5 possible positions.
Unit assembly:
1. Unfasten the screw socket (9)

and place the telescopic tube (8)
into the screw socket (9).
There is only one position for the
telescopic tube in the screw so-
cket; note the position of the slot
for this on the telescopic tube.
2. Insert the telescopic tube (8) into
the screw socket (9) as far as it
will go.
3. Turn the screw socket (9) until it
is hand-tight.
If the telescopic tube (8) is not
pushed in as far is it will go, the
appliance will not start!

Switching ON and OFF

1. Check that the battery (5) is in.
2. To turn on, use your thumb to
actuate the switch lock (3), then
press the On/Off switch (2). Re-
lease the switch lock.
3. To turn off, release the On/Off
switch (2). There is no continu-
ous operation mode.
The brush will keep rotating for a
few seconds after the device has
been switched off. Keep the brush
away from hands and feet.
Do not try to lock the on/off
switch in place. Do not use the
device if the switch is damaged.
A damaged switch may cause an
injury risk due to the motor not
being switched off after releas-
ing the on/off switch.
