ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these safety instructions before use and
keep them in a safe place.
! - This symbol indicates the risk of injury or damage
to the device.
! Failure to follow the instructions in this manual may
result in injury.
! The angle grinder complies with the applicable
technical regulations and standards.
! Do not use other accessories besides grinding,
cutting and diamond wheels.
! Never use tools without a protective cover.
! Always wear eye protection (goggles or face shield)
and hearing protection.
! Do not use any cutting and grinding wheels for side
grinding.
! Make sure that the ventilation openings are free
during dusty work.
! When cutting into walls, make sure that there is no
el. line (metal detector).
! Never cool the grinding wheel with water.
! Do not touch the bezel after machining, it may be
hot.
! Never attach the grinder to a workbench.
! Make sure that the speed indicated on the grinding
wheel is higher than or equal to the speed indicated
on the nameplate.
! Do not cut material that requires a cut with a
maximum depth exceeding the depth of the grinding
wheel.
! Do not cut or sand light metals with a magnesium
content higher than 80%, as such metals are
fl ammable
! Make sure that the grinding wheel is the correct size
and that it is mounted correctly on the spindle.
! Handle the grinding wheels very carefully and in
accordance with the instructions that come with the
grinding wheel.
! Inspect the grinding wheel before each use. ! Do
not use grinding wheels that are cracked or otherwise
damaged.
! Make sure that the grinding wheel is fi tted according
to the instructions.
! After fi tting the grinding wheel, let the grinder run
idle in a safe place. If the grinder vibrates strongly or
if there is damage to the grinding wheel, switch off the
grinder immediately and try to determine the cause.
! Do not use reducers or other auxiliary parts to grind
the grinding wheels for different spindle diameters.
! Make sure that the material is properly supported or
fastened.
! Never use the blade removal blade.
! Make sure that sparks do not hit anyone and that
they cannot ignite fl ammable substances.
! Do not work with the grinder if someone is standing
in the direction of the grinding wheel. Make sure the
work area around you is clean.
! Only press the wheel lock button (3) if the motor and
the grinder spindle have already stopped completely!
! Remember that the grinding wheel will continue to
rotate for a while after the grinder is switched off.
! Always use the auxiliary handle that comes with the
tool.
! Loss of control over the el. tools can cause injuries.
- Use protective equipment against noise, dust and
vibration !!!

NOTICE!
! The ASIST angle grinder is supplied with a
protective wheel cover (5) intended exclusively for
grinding.
! It is not permitted to use the supplied protective
cover (5) for cutting.
! If you want to use an angle grinder for cutting, it is
necessary to use a protective blade cover designed
for cutting according to EN60745-2-3 (see Fig. KNR
- not included).
