8. PAPER CHIP DRAWER
The paper chip drawer for your StreamPunch is located at the front of
the machine's base. The drawer should periodically be pulled out and
emptied. The StreamPunch incorporates microprocessor technology
to inform the operator when the Chip Tray needs to be emptied. When
the Punch has cycled a certain number of times or the chip tray level
has reached the top of the tray, the Check Chip Tray LED will start to
flash on and off. You may continue to use the StreamPunch for a short
while longer if you wish, but it is not recommended.
You must empty the Chip Tray with the Power On so that the sensors
are able to identify this action. This will ensure that the LED will reset
itself.
9. SERVICE
 Should your StreamPunch require service, contact your local
authorized service representative.
 There are NO user-serviceable parts inside the machine. To avoid
potential personal injury and/or property damage, DO NOT REMOVE
THE MACHINE'S COVER.
 It is recommended that your StreamPunch receives preventive
maintenance every 6 months or sooner depending on usage.
 To conserve the life of the Die Sets, you should apply a coating of light
machine oil at least once every 50 thousand punches (every 250
thousand punches for High Durability die sets). Apply the oil to the
exposed wick/felt material near the pin or any marked oil hole. Do not
use spray lubricants.
 Oil from the die sets may blemish the first few copies when the machine
is first used, and when machine oil has been freshly applied. In this
case, please keep test copying until clean copies can be made.

The Die Set is in partial cycle. Turn
the Die Set knob (J3) to the HOME
position. Home position is when the
arrows line up. The Die Set should now
slide out easily.
