Installing the LCD monitor
➤ Insert the connection cable plug (fig. 6 3, page 4) into the socket
"POWER INPUT" (fig. 0 1, page 6) of the connection box.
➤ Connect the connection cable as follows:
– Connect the red cable to terminal 15 (ignition +).
– Connect the black cable to terminal 31 (earth –).
– Connect the orange cable to the positive terminal of the reversing light.
– Connect the white cable to the positive terminal of the instrument
panel illumination.
– Connect the yellow cable to the indicator light.
➤ Lay the system cable under the dashboard.
➤ Connect the camera's connection cable to the extension cable.
➤ Lay the system cable (fig. 6 9, page 4) from the monitor to the site where
you would like to mount the camera.
If required, additional extension cables can be obtained from your dealer or
from the manufacturer (see chapter "Accessories" on page 40).
➤ Attach the cables securely in the vehicles to prevent tripping hazards.
Use cable straps, insulating tape or glue.
✓ The monitor is ready for use again.

Installing the connection box
➤ Install the connection box in a location protected from water near the
monitor, preferably under the dashboard.
Make sure to consider the length of the cable.
➤ Attach the connection box using the supplied screws (fig. j, page 9).

Caution!
Make sure there is a good contact. Wrap insulating tape around
every connection on the cable (even inside the vehicle).
Connecting the control box to the power supply
➤ Connect the connection cable as follows:
– Connect the red cable to the voltage supply 12 V to 24 V (maximum
30 V).
– Connect the black cable to terminal 31 (earth –).
– Connect the white cable to the control cable for switching on the
dimmer function (night mode).
